How AGE water is made: seven steps from the well to the bottle

No metaphors about water memory. Just what we do to it, in what order, and which of it you can check yourself.

How AGE water is made

Water usually gets written about beautifully — memory, structure, clusters. We are going to write about it dully: what actually happens to the water, in what order, and what of it you can check.

AGE is drinking water. Not a medicine, not a supplement, not a remedy for anything. A beverage we make on our own equipment and sell by subscription.

Step 1. The well

The source water is artesian, from our own borehole. Not mains water. It is the most expensive part of the cost and at the same time the part we influence least: whatever the aquifer holds is what arrives.

Step 2. Mechanical and carbon

First coarse filter cartridges, then a carbon stage. This is where suspended solids, iron, organics and smell go. Nothing unique — standard water treatment, the same as at any small production site.

Step 3. Osmosis

Reverse osmosis brings mineralisation down to nearly zero. What comes out is water with almost nothing in it.

That is deliberate. The next stage works with the water as a medium, and the fewer stray ions it carries, the more repeatable the result from batch to batch.

Step 4. The chamber

The water passes through a chamber placed inside an electromagnetic field. This is the part that makes AGE different from ordinary bottled water, and it is also the part about which we will not say more than we know.

What we measure here: conductivity, pH and temperature at the inlet and the outlet. The first two change. By how much, and why exactly that way, is a question we do not yet have a full answer to.

What we do not do: claim this changes how the water affects the body. We have not run that measurement, and until we do we will not talk about it.

Step 5. Resting

After the chamber the water rests. Not because it «infuses», but because for a few hours after treatment the readings keep drifting before they settle. Bottling earlier means bottling different water into neighbouring bottles.

Step 6. The mineral base

After resting, the mineral base goes in — and that is what defines the recipe.

  • ORIGINAL — minimal mineralisation, a neutral soft taste.
  • SILVER — with silver ions. The traditional way to extend how long water keeps; a cleaner taste with a light mineral note.
  • RELAX — with potassium. Potassium is an ordinary dietary mineral; it rounds out the taste profile.
  • GOLD — a longer treatment cycle and its own base. In development, never on sale.
  • Step 7. Glass

Bottled in glass. Plastic is cheaper and lighter, but we stayed with glass: it gives nothing back to the water and does not spoil the taste in the second week.

Every batch is marked with its treatment date. Shelf life is 6 months from bottling.

    What you can check yourself

  • Conductivity and TDS — with any household TDS meter. The numbers on the label should match what your meter says.
  • pH — with strips or a pH meter.
  • Taste — blind, next to any bottled water of the same mineralisation. It is the most honest test there is, and it is what we offer instead of promises.
  • If your readings disagree with ours, write to info@awttechnologies.com and we will compare against the batch log.

    The subscription

A monthly subscription is 16 litres, 4 litres a week. We bottle to order rather than to a warehouse: a fresh batch ships every week, so the water reaches you within days of treatment.
